Bracewell happy with final session

Tuesday, August 30 2016 by SNTV
  • Doug Bracewell reacted on Monday (29th August) to South Africa leading New Zealand by 372 runs after the third day of the second Test in Centurion.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Doug Bracewell, New Zealand:

"It was a pleasing last session for us, we spoke about giving it everything for a session and seeing what happens and we know it's a funny game and can change pretty quickly and it was pretty pleasing to go bang-bang, get a roll on, and put them under some pressure."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Doug Bracewell, New Zealand:

"It's quite a tough surface to bat on, even at the moment its going up and down, so it's going to be a challenge batting last on it, but at the moment we are focused on getting four wickets and hopefully bowling South Africa out in the morning."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Doug Bracewell, New Zealand

"At the moment it seems to be going up and down, the cracks are coming into play a little bit and I think the fuller length is still hard so score off, as is the shorter length as some are going low and some are bouncing. So, yes, it's a tricky surface, we will have start well again in the morning and then focus on the batting."
