Sri Lanka trained and captain Angelo Matthews looked ahead on Monday (June 20th) to the first ODI against England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

"It has been a tough 48 hours for him and the whole team is behind him and you know we are fully supportive of him. You know it was an unfortunate incident where you know just before he went on to the field, he's had an elevated heart beat and it was quite shocking and we rushed him to the hospital and we are yet to receive any or rather latest news from the doctors so he's undergoing some tests and you'll get to know very soon about his condition, but hopefully he's doing good. Yes, and once again another unfortunate decision, incident where you know his action is proved to be illegal so he's got to go back, work with the fast bowling coaches and come back strong."
