Mitchell Starc says Australia are eagerly anticipating their clash with the West Indies in an One-Day International in Georgetown, Guyana on Sunday. Starc is making his return to international cricket after an injury lay-off.

"As I said before, it's the first tour back after a little bit of a lay off for some, the first one as a group in a couple of months. We're all really excited to be back in one squad and getting some cricket back for the Australian team. We're all raring to go and looking forward to Sunday. I think that will show in our cricket."

"Obviously it's a lead in to our.... a start of the lead up to the Champions trophy, so I guess they'll be spots up for grabs, a chance for guys to cement places and perform well in this series. Then we have a couple of series against Sri Lanka and South Africa before the summer, so a heap of cricket, plenty of opportunity for guys to come in whether they're on the fringe or they stared in the last series.It's a great opportunity for guys to come in after a little bit of a lay off or you've been playing in the IPL. It's great to come over here and perform against two quality sides, one in their home conditions will know it better than the other two."

"It's always a bit of a chance to get one up over the other with a lot of cricket coming up against South Africa as you mentioned we go over there in a few months time, and they come back to Australia in the summer. So a fair bit of cricket against them and a chance for us to have a look at them after a bit of a break from playing against the South Africans, a few guys have played against them in the IPL, so we'll pick their brains and see if they've picked up anything on the likes of AB (AB de Villiers). It's always good to keep one in the back pocket, and pull it out if you need to, and let them know we've got the mickey (hex) on them if we can get over this series."
