Both defeated in their first games - Pakistan and Belgium were looking to make a more positive impression on the second day at the Champions Trophy.

The first half ended in deadlock, but Haseem Abdul Khan of Pakistan put his team ahead after 56 minutes.

A 2-0 victory was sealed by Shafqat Rasool with a minute to go in the game.

England recovered from a defeat against India with a 4-1 win against Germany in Pool A.

It was a rampant first half with goals from Adam Dixon... Harry Martin.... and own goals for both side making it 3-1 at the half-time break.

Darren Cheesman's field goal after 61 minutes put England's Champions Trophy campaign back on track.

There were no goals in Australia's game against the Netherlands in the other game in Pool B.

The Dutch goalkeeper Jaap Stockmann was named the man of the match.

All teams are guaranteed a place in the quarter-finals with the standings in each of the pools determining who plays who in the knockout stage.
