The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have charged Pakistan's Danish Kaneria on two counts of spot-fixing during an English county match.
Kaneria has been found guilty of "cajoling and pressurising" Essex team-mate Mervyn Westfield to become involved in spot-fixing during a Pro40 against Durham in 2009.
Westfield was jailed for four months earlier this year after pleading guilty to spot-fixing.
Kaneria will learn of his punishment from the ECB later on Friday.
