The squad trained without allrounder Shakib Al Hasan who's been rested for the unofficial T20 triangular series.

He's been replaced by batsman Jahurul Islam in the squad.

He'll join Tamim Iqbal Khan in leading the Bangladeshi attack.

He spoke of his confidence going into the opening fixture against Zimbabwe:

"I think this will be a tough series. Zimbabwe and South Africa is there. I think Zimbabwe is a very good T20 side and South Africa always has been a good side. So we need to play our best to beat them and we're a very confident team at this moment because of the last tournament we had."

He also highlighted Zimbabwean batsman Brandon Talyor as one of the main threats.

"You see Brandon Talyor (Zimbabwe batsman) is doing very well, and I think he is a quality player. I think he will be the key."

Zimbabwe host Bangladesh at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
