    Harlem Globetrotter William Bullard escaped serious injury during an exhibition game in Honduras, after a basketball hoop gave way and crashed to the court.

    Fortunately, Bullard was able to get back on his feet and watch the remainder of the match.

    The incident occured whilst the side were appearing in the Honduran capital, Tegucigalpa, during a tour of Central America.

    The backboard shattered, following an attempted slamdunk and Bullard suffered a cut on his forehead.

    Founded in Chicago, USA in 1926, the Harlem Globetrotters are basketball's most famous exhibition team.
