Round four of Basketball's Euroleague took place on Thursday - with six matches taking place across Europe.

Real Madrid consummated the best four-game start in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague this century with a 66-85 away win over Strasbourg in France.

The victory lifts Madrid to 4-0 atop Group B while Stasbourg continue to search for a win.

Elsewhere in Group B Anadolu Efes Istanbul pulled away for a 72-61 victory over a stubborn Zalgiris Kaunas.

The game was tied at 54-54 early in the fourth quarter before Dragicevic fuelled a 12-2 Efes charge that paved the way to victory.

With the win Efes improved to 3-1 in Group B and sit second, while Zalgiris fell to 1-3 and sit fifth.

In a thriller that came down to the final shot, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv registered its third consecutive win in Group D by edging Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius 74-76 in the Lithuanian capital.

A floater in the closing seconds by Rice allowed Maccabi to beat his former team, as Seibutis couldn't hit an off-balance shot at the buzzer.

Maccabi improved to 3-1 in Group D while Rytas dropped to 1-3.

Krunoslav Simon buried the game-winner in the final second to lead Eurocup champions Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar to an exciting 69-72 away win over Panathinaikos.

Lokomotiv improved to 3-1 and shares first place in Group D with Maccabi.
