The Los Angeles Clippers held a news conference to show off Chris Paul, Matt Barnes, Darren Collison, Jared Dudley, Ryan Hollins and JJ Redick.

Redick will give newly re-signed point Paul a much-needed shooting option.

"Well when you're a free agent there's always going to be assumptions - it started last year half way through the season, 'What are you going to do? What are you going to do?' As I said all season long I'd address it in the off-season with my family, as I did after we lost the playoff, went on vacation and talked about it with my family and this seemed to be an outstanding situation. Not only for me because as I said this decision affects my kids, my wife, my brother, my parents and everything and from day one the Clippers have been outstanding in everything, in every aspect. It was an easy decision for me and I made it and I'm here."

"These guys are unbelievable. Obviously Matt (Barnes) and (Ryan) Hollins I love them and the energy that they bring. Me and Matt talked as soon as the season was over. Me and Matt knew that we wanted to play on the same team because like I said, I hated playing against Matt. But you need him on your team because he's just hard nosed and doesn't care about anything except winning. Darren Collison who I'm excited be back with because we played together at a different stage in our career in New Orleans. JD (Jared Dudley) lights out as a shooter. Just unbelievable, plays hard and is just a great guy to be around. And this guy right here to my left, I'm really excited to play with him because it's crazy how life works and stuff like that and how you grow as a person because in college, me and JJ, oh no you would have never seen us sitting next to each other. You would have never seen us next to each other. When I saw that JJ signed here I was overjoyed. I told my wife I'm so excited because I'm just so happy that we're on the same team and I don't have to run around and chase him."
