Intro:
Post-match reaction on Monday (10 June) after the Miami Heat secure 103-84 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
Script:
Just wanted to, I guess, make an impact some way. Offensively it was a struggle for me; couldn't make a shot, missed lay-ups. Some things I'm accustomed to making. So I just wanted to make some plays and try to help our team and I was able to protect the rim on that one. Basically I told myself, either you'll end up on (ESPN's) Sports Center where you're going to get dunked on or you're going to get a block. So, luckily I was on the good side of the Top Ten and the Not So Top Ten."
"Small things will make a major thing in this series, because talent level is pretty equivalent. And so it's going to be loose balls, rebounds, execution, guys coming in with confidence, being aggressive, that type of thing. Everybody was fine with it tonight. Wherever the ball ended up, you know, and not getting caught up in an individual ego, but more of a team ego."
"Miami did a hell of a job. Nobody is tired, I mean we had two days off; there's no excuse. There's no tired. They're no more tired than we are and vice versa. The season does get long for both teams, but both teams would rather be here than at home. So it's not about tired, it's about Miami played their ass off."
