Post-game reaction after the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Golden State Warriors 94-82 on Thursday (16th May).

"Our defence. If we can hold them in the 80s, we should have a decent chance of being there at the end of the game. And as we have said a lot in the playoffs, sometimes in the end it comes down to making shots, and down the stretch we made a couple threes. Tony, Kawhi, Danny, Tony made another shot even though he was three for sixteen, we stuck with him. We did make some shots down the stretch and they didn't."

SOUNDBITE (English): Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs Guard:

"We were really disappointed last year, being up 2-0 and having home court, and not being able to go to the finals I think that gives us a lot of fuel for this year. I think everybody in the team we all want to go one more time. Its been a long time since 2007 when you go to the finals. I think everyone understands the occasion, the opportunities they don't come very often. Last year we missed a close one, we were two games away from the finals, and this year we have another opportunity to go to the finals."

"We fought to the finish against a great Spurs team that we knew it would be a tough task coming into the series. The plays they made down the stretch, the big threes they hit, they deserve to win. So congratulate them, but it will take a minute to realise what accomplishments we have made. For a Warriors team to be in this position it's a good thing and we can build on this for next year."
