Reaction following Indiana's victoy over New York

Tuesday, May 07 2013 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Post-game reaction after the Indiana Pacers beat the New York Knicks 102-95 on Sunday, in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Frank Vogel, Indiana Pacers Head Coach:
"Just a strong defensive effort and then offensively guys played with great poise, great poise. Sixteen turnovers is not great but not bad against a team that can turn you over the way this team can so, just a complete team effort. Very proud of them."

SOUNDBITE: (English) David West, Indiana Pacers Forward:
"It was good for us, I think the fact that we won a tough road game in Atlanta a couple of nights ago was still fresh in our minds - we talked about that yesterday at our walk through, just remembering some of the things we did during that game to get us over the hump in terms of being able to win in a tough environment. And I thought we just let a lot of that carry over into today."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Mike Woodson, New York Knicks Head Coach:
"We played well in spurts but, again, when there are loose balls and things of that nature, you know, our rotations were missing tonight ... So those some things we can clean up as a group and get better, you know, come Tuesday."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks Forward:
"You take out the X's and O's of the game, they just flat-out played harder then we did today and that was the key in their victory. They outplayed us, they outworked us ... There's nothing else need to be said about that."
