SOUNDBITE (English) Jerry Stackhouse, Brooklyn Nets forward:
"I knew about it for a while. I didn't know exactly who it was, but I knew it was some talk of some guys that had been discussing it and one in particular was thinking about coming out. I didn't know exactly it was Jason (Collins). But once I heard that it was, I reached out to him right away. He was a team-mate of mine last year in Atlanta. Got to know him quite well, just as another guy, man. I know he's as tough as they come. He's a guy that went in the game and it was his job, was to take six hard fouls. And that's what he did and did it well. So, like I said, I hope that this isn't anything to happen for him and his career can continue. And the way that he wants, I know he wants to play some more and hopefully get a chance to."

SOUNDBITE (English) Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies Guard:
"I think the NBA and all of our players, we're grown men, we're professionals. I think Jason Collins, what he did was admirable. I think a lot of people wouldn't do that. Man, it takes a lot of courage and to do something like that. So, actually he was on my team, so I had been teammates with him. So, I just wish him the best and man, I think that's admirable."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Metta World Peace, Los Angeles Lakers forward:
"You know, everybody, no matter what it is, I came here in a cookie monster shirt, you know, because I wanted to. And I was going wear the pants but I thought you guys were going judge me. And, I was going wear the hat too but I figured you guys would judge me. I didn't want Mitch (presumable Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak) to judge me, so that's why I didn't wear the hat and the pants. But, I should have worn it. We should be free do and act how you want to act."
