  • Intro:

Postgame sound after the Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 89-85 on Sunday (17th June) to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven NBA Finals.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) LeBron James, Miami Heat Forward: "In the fourth quarter we had an opportunity to extend the lead, and we turned the ball over. We turned the ball over nine times in the fourth, I believe, and that's not winning basketball. So we know they're not broken. For us, we just want to improve. We want to improve each and every game, and we look forward to the challenge of Game 4."

SOUNDBITE: (english) Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder Forward on what was going wrong for the Thunder: "Just making bad passes. We've got to do a better job and correct it. It's not like they're forcing us to just turn the ball over. We had 11 tonight, but we had some tough ones. We've just got to do a better job. I know I have to do a way better job. We've just got to own up to it and get better."

SOUNDBITE (english) Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder Guard, on which plays cost the Thunder the game: "I don't think it's a particular play or plays, just the little things we've got to do, giving them easy layups. I mean, I don't know how many paint points they had, but they had a lot of them early on. Just got to cut that down."
