The New York Knicks said on Saturday (31 March) their point guard had an MRI exam this week that revealed a small, chronic meniscus tear.

He's been the story of the NBA season, but for overnight global sensation Jeremy Lin, a knee injury will temporarily curtail any more on court heroics for the New York Knicks.

Today was the one week mark, and so this morning I got on the court to see how it feels, and that's why I haven't been able to talk about this injury up until now. Because the decision was made this morning. Can't really do much, can't really cut or jump, so it's pretty clear I won't be able to help the team unless I get this fixed right now..."
