At the moment, City are not discussing sacking him. But if the situation deteriorates — if the striker doesn’t return, for example — then the club are ruling nothing out.
But City are adamant Tevez’s adviser was told by acting chief executive John MacBeath over the weekend the player must stay to train. The club claim this was repeated by Salsano.
