Work to be done: Mancini has been taking care of first-team matters
A City spokesman said: ‘Carlos has been contacted by the club for his observations and he has also been reminded of the requirement to continue his fitness program tomorrow at Carrington as planned.’
Sources say he could face a three-week fine to go with the £500,000 he has paid for the Munich dispute. He can expect to be fined two weeks’ wages under standard disciplinary procedure.
But since he has just come out of one disciplinary process, PFA rules do permit this latest fine to be extended to three weeks’ wages — more than £750,000 for Tevez.
