Better known as an actress in her native Italy, where she appeared in a number of TV series and movies, than in North America, where she has been seen primarily as a model, she has nonetheless attracted the attention of Hollywood -- or, rather, one Hollywood star in particular. As women like Canalis are hard to come by, it takes a special kind of man to woo them. He has to be a man who oozes charm, rides a motorcycle, owns a villa overlooking a pristine Italian lake, pals around with the likes of Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, is a noted humanitarian, an accomplished actor and director, and is always the life of the party. It's hard to believe that a man who fits such lofty criteria even exists, but Elisabetta Canalis's criteria met its match in George Clooney, whom she has been dating for over a year now.
