The Ashes (25 November - 7 January)

Andrew Strauss will be taking England to Australia to defend the Ashes come November. Back in 2006/07 it was a 5-0 whitewash but this time around, as long as they can continue in their current reign of form, the England team will head down-under full of confidence and in with a real chance of defeating their hosts.

As in the Ashes series of 2009, Australia look a vulnerable side without the likes of Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne but it would be folly to suggest Ricky Ponting's men can be tamed without a fight.
