The women's final of the European Open Slopestyle was held in Laax in Switzerland on Saturday.

Isabel Derungs delighted the home crowd when the snowboarder from Zürich cruised to victory with 83.65 points.

The 26-year-old's winning run included a Switch Backside Boardslide to Regular, 50-50 Frontside 360 out and a Backside Rodeo Melon Grab.

Derungs' win moves her into the top 10 of the rankings.

15-year-old Miyabi Onitsuka of Japan was over five points off the pace but she was understandably delighted with coming second as she climbs to 15th in the standings.

She secured her podium spot with a repertoire including a Backside Boardslide 270 out, a Cab Underflip Indy Grab and a Frontside 720.

The 27-year-old rises to fourth in the leaderboard with this result.
