Geneve-Servette advance to Spengler Cup last four

    Swiss side Geneve-Servette beat Russia's CSKA Moscow 4-3 in overtime on Saturday to reach the semi-finals of the Spengler Cup in Davos.

    Script:

    Geneve-Servette came from behind to beat CSKA Moscow in overtime in the Spengler Cup on Saturday.

    The Swiss team found themselves behind after just three minutes when Alexander Frolov converted for CSKA.

    Denis Hollenstein responded for Geneve-Servette, levelling the score ahead of the second period with this easy chance.

    The Russians then opened a two-goal lead thanks to some smart stick work from Alexander Radulov and Sergei Fedorov added a third.

    However, Kaspars Daugavins reduced the deficit to 3-2 .

    The third period saw Geneve-Servette needing a third to take the game into overtime - they equalised with little under four minutes remaining. Alexandre Picard converted.

    Before Daugavins completed the comeback with less than 60 seconds left to play.

    Geneve-Servette reached the semi-finals after finishing top of Group Torriani.

    CSKA will now take on Vítkovice Steel for a place in the last four.
