Finnish side JYP lifted the 2013 Ice Hockey Red Bull Salute trophy on Sunday in Berlin, after a 2-1 final win over Swedish side Farjestad BK

The Finns started brightly as Max Warn opened the scoring for JYP, with a power play goal in the ninth minute.

And they doubled their lead in the second period when Markus Nenonen struck from distance in the 22nd minute.

However Anton Grundel reduced the deficit for the Swedish outfit in the 32nd minute, with Per Ahslund missing the opportunity to equalise just moments later.

Despite a strong finish by the Swedes in the third period JYP held on for the win and celebrated with the trophy.

After five years as an international invitation tournament, the European Trophy Finals will be replaced by the newly-formed Champions Hockey League in August next year.
