Malaysian driver Jazeman Jaafar was given a test drive of a Mercedes F1 car at Silverstone at the end of November.

"Well it's absolutely beneficial. I mean it helped a lot for me, especially in my preparation in my junior categories. I've been going to five Grand Prix for the past three or four years now. It helped me communicate with my engineers better, understanding more, technical knowledge especially, that boosted a lot for me and obviously meeting the drivers and talking to them about how is it like to drive, different driving styles et cetera. And the different tracks that we go to, you know it's different weather, different warming up procedures. Of course driving with Pirelli's (tyres) it takes a lot as well, so I feel very privileged to be given this opportunity."
