The USA Snowboarding team will wear Burton designed uniforms for the third consecutive Winter Olympics.

The Vermont-based company unveiled the unique design apparel Tuesday night at their store in Soho.

Company founder Jake Burton was on hand to present the line along with Chief Creative Officer Greg Dacyshyn and Burton team rider and Olympic hopeful Danny Davis.

Davis is pleased with the look of the design

SOUNDBITE: (English) Danny Davis, USA snowboarder:
"It's kind of truly a handmade piece. It's got some story behind it which I bet no other country can say about their attire that they'll be wearing. It's cool man. It's not your typical uniform which is awesome.

Designer Greg Dacyshyn explained the differences in each jacket:

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Greg Dacyshyn, designer:
"In the past the jackets and outfits have been great, but this time we wanted to do something that each jacket could be very different. So although each jacket has this quilt pattern it's all cut from different parts of the marker. So each jacket has it's own look. So no two jackets will be the same which I think is really dope."

Snowboarding is still relatively new to the Olympic games - having made it's first appearance in 1998.
