The roads around Lake Geneva are the venue for the final round of the European Rally Championship.

On leg two it was Esapekka Lappi who made his move, taking over in front in his Skodia Fabia.

The Finn demoted overnight leader Andreas Aigner into second place on the 146 kilometre mixed surface route.

By the end of the day, Aigner trailed Lappi by 43.7 seconds.

In third place was eight time Valais winner Olivier Burri, Switzerland's best hope of a home winner in his Ford Fiesta RRC.

Russian teenager Vasily Gryazin finished the leg in fourth place after another impressive performance in his Fiesta S2000.

The Peugeot pair of Nicolas Althaus and Jeremi Ancian finished in fifth and sixth respectively.

Frenchman Robert Consani was forced to retire out of the ERC Production Car Cup category after losing a wheel from his Renault Megane.
