"Very tight race to finish off the round robin for us... against Taylor Canfield. We're a bit disappointed to lose it, but there's a lot of positives to take from that race. I mean we're over the line, just by a smidgeon, and we manage to still claw our way back into the race on the first beat to have a situation at the top mark."

"Yes, we've had a greta time in the round robin now so we managed to qualify for the quarter finals which to be perfectly honest we didn't know how we would go coming into this event and we're very happy with that. We've had some great racing, fantastic conditions and we'll look forward to to whoever we end up sailing in the quarter finals."

In the quarter-finals on Friday Ben Ainslie will face Bjorn Hansen.
