SOUNDBITE: (English) Tyler Wright "Oh definitely excitement, I love doing this and it's the end of the year, it's the last contest too."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Tyler Wright "Well yeah, that's what it was for me out there, I was just surfing, so just catching waves. You know the first start of the heat I caught nothing and I was like (make a disappointed noise). In the back half I caught a few and when I got on my board I felt really comfortable and really free and light and fast."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Carissa Moore "I surfed the back-up venue once or twice this week. I haven't surfed there much so I'm not super comfortable. I think it's like anywhere on tour you kind of have to go out there and figure it out and adapt. So I hope I can do that when the time comes."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Carissa Moore "It's definitely an hour to be in the World title race this year with Tyler (Wright) and to have it so close I mean it just goes to show how high the performance level is this year on tour and all the girls are pushing the limits every heat so you have to bring your A-game if you want to make it and be at the top."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Stephanie Gilmore "i'm pretty excited to see who's going to really perform under pressure out of Tyler (Wright) and Carissa (Moore). So yeah it's super exciting, it's really close and I guess all of us other girls can kind of play a role in those results of the two girls. So yeah I dunno, I'm just, I'm here to enjoy Portugal and enjoy the waves."
