It seemed like it was a done deal days ago but Team Oracle USA haven't given up on their Americas Cup hopes yet.

Team Emirates New Zealand have only needed one more victory for five races to win the famous trophy.

However, races 14 and 15 didn't go their way.

Oracle seem to be at their best when their backs are against the wall and having lost six of the first seven races, they have now won six of the last eight.

The US team produced some of their best sailing to date in Race 14.

Jimmy Spithill's team won the race by 23 seconds.

And they carried that good form in to race 15, winning by 37 seconds.

It has been a tumultuous finals for Oracle.

They were docked two points by the Jury for a rules infringement in a previous event and had a crew member barred from racing but then they brought in Sir Ben Ainslie to replace John Kostecki in the key tactician's role.

It seems to have worked and with races 16 and a possible 17 scheduled for Monday, Oracle will look to continue the most unlikely of comebacks.
