    Script:

It was a Norwegian and Citroen 1-2 in round seven of the European Rallycross Championship in Loheac, France.

Andreas Bakkerud started from pole, but it was another Citroen DS3 who took the lead from the off, as Petter Solberg made the better start.

Bakkerud managed to force his way past Solberg on the second lap, only for Solberg to retake the lead immediately as Bakkerud went wide.

Undettered on the next lap he managed to get past and would go on to take victory in a time of three minutes 49.297 seconds, with Solberg a little over two seconds behind in a time of three minutes 51.747 seconds.

Frenchman Davy Jeanney, in his Citroen C4, was third - he clocked three minutes 52.457 seconds.

Tanner Foust had been pushing Solberg hard for second, but he didn't finish the race, however the American Ford Fiesta driver did pick up a championship point.

Timur Timerzyanov was fourth in three minutes 54.054 seconds, the Russian is top of the Championship table with 143 points, 15 points clear of second-placed Timmy Hansen, while Bakkerud is fourth on 115 points.

"I was sure I was messing it up when I overtook him (Petter Solberg) the first time and I went wide. Oh what a crazy race, I think it was a clean overtake as well. So yeah I was pushing the limit, my team told me 'go, go, go, go, you need to push harder' and I was yeah 'look at what I'm doing'."
