Benoit Treluyer's Audi 1 takes pole ahead of 6 Hours of Sao Paulo

    The Audi 1 of Andre Lotterer, Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Faessler took pole for the 6 hours of Sao Paulo.

    The Audi 2 driven by Tom Kristensen, Loic Duval and Allan McNeish had to settle for second on the grid after spinning off in qualifying.

    It was an Audi 1-2 in qualifying for Sunday's 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.

    The Audi 1 of Andre Lotterer, Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Faessler took pole position ahead of the Audi 2 driven by Tom Kristensen, Loic Duval and Allan McNeish.

    Their car spun in qualifying as it pushed for pole and had to settle for second on the grid.

    Third on the grid will be the No.8 Toyota TS030 Hybrid of Anthony Davidson, Sebastian Buemi and Stephane Sarrazin.

    The Rebellion Racing LMP1 Privateer entry qualified 4th in the LMP1 category with Nicolas Prost, Nick Heidfeld and Mathias Beche at the wheel.

    In LMP2 it was a Nissan-powered 1-2-3, the No.26 G-Drive Racing entry of Conway-Martin-Rusinov took the class pole.

    In the LM GTE Pro category the Aston Martin Racing No.98 of Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Richie Stanaway emerged quickest.
