The Swiss city of Lausanne was the setting for the fourth round of this season's Ice Cross Downhill World Championship.
Starting at the 15th century Chateau Saint-Maire, the 450-metre track was a true test of courage for the 64 athletes.
Kyle Croxall arrived at the top of the standings - but the Canadian got just 110 points with a dreadful 20th place after losing in the round of 32, and is now second.
It was a better day for Kyle's brother Scott who secured a place in the four-man final.
