British enduro rider Graham Jarvis successfully defends his Red Bull Romaniacs title with a commanding victory in Sibui on Sunday.

    Script:

The Red Bull Romaniacs is one of the toughest extreme enduro rallies, and the fourth and final day proved why.

Riders were on their bikes for more than five hours, riding over the Carpathian Mountains in Romania.

Defending champion Graham Jarvis gave a near-faultless display, leaving the rest of the field to battle for the minor placings.

Andreas Lettenbichler was Jarvis's nearest challenger, but the German had to settle for second.

Third place went to 21-year-old British rookie Jonny Walker, who became the youngest rider to make the podium in Romaniacs' history.

He clocked the fastest time in the final stage, finishing in five hours 13 minutes and 12 seconds.

Jarvis was about seven minutes slower, but his overall time was a commanding 43 minutes and 56 seconds better than Lettenbichler.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Graham Jarvis, Red Bull Romaniacs winner:
"It's an incredible feeling. I'm a bit too tired to appreciate it I think. I'm just glad to get up that hill. I've had a few crashes today but it's an incredible feeling to come here and win again."

That's the second straight title for the Husaberg rider and his third overall.
