The win extends his lead over Christophe Pourcel at the top of the classifications to 39 points.

Cairoli eased to victory in MX1's race 1 with Paulin coming 2nd and Pourcel finishing 3rd.

In the second race it was Steven Frossard who wrestled for the lead with Cairoli early on, however a lapse in concentration saw him drop two places in two corners.

His team, KTM, also go top of the manufacturer's rankings - overtaking Kawasaki.

In MX2, race 1 was won by Jeffrey Herlings, however the Dutchman's combative nature caused a crash in race two.

He collided with Switzerland's Arnaud Tonus who looked confused but unhurt.

First place belonged to Great Britain's Tommy Searle.

Herlings came over in second with Belgian Jeremy van Horebeek coming third.
