  • Intro:

Force India driver Paul di Resta looks ahead to this weekend Grand Prix - round six - which gets underway at the famous Monaco street circuit with the opening Free Practice sessions on Friday.

Di Resta has enjoyed a promising start to his time in the Mercedes-Benz driven Force India machine with a string of consistent results, his best showing being a sixth place finish in Bahrain for round four.

The 26 year-old will head to Monaco in 12th place in the drivers championship and the lead driver in the Force India team - as Nico Hulkenberg occupies 15th place with a lowly three points.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Paul di Resta, Force India Driver:
"It is a highlight of the year, it is the pinnacle of the Formula One calendar - all the glitz and glam, the super-yachts and obviously very tightly packed grandstands, people in their apartment buildings and any place that people can get close to seeing the Formula One cars go round. Its excellent and you do feel it. I think because it is so enclosed and just everybody wants to come to this event. Normally the weather obviously holds out given that it is the south of France and really it is an electric weekend."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Paul di Resta, Force India Driver:
"It has obviously got some great corners, obviously from turn one to turn three and into Casino Square...arriving at 185 miles per hour and braking into a blind corner where you have to carry a lot of speed on the entry and should you get that wrong it is going to be very costly, as we have seen in the past. It has the slowest corner that we do on the Formula One calendar, the Loews hairpin, which is quite tricky. Obviously overtaking is quite difficult but Monaco has some great corners."
