  • Intro:

British Formula One drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton were in good humour on Thursday, as their McLaren Mercedes Team brought their rivalry to the world of graphic comics in the Spanish city of Barcelona.

A comic series named "Evil Blessed" will narrate the current Formula One season from the McLaren team perspective - with a new chapter after each grand prix.

    Script:

Competition in this year's F1 season is fast and furious with four different drivers winning the first four races.

And now McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton's hunting for pole position at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Lewis Hamilton, McLaren driver:
"Not only you come to a great city but the circuit is fantastic. Not the easiest place to overtake, especially now we have the DRS zones is better to for overtaking. But I've generally had good races here. So, I'm hoping this weekend will be another good weekend. There is a saying that if you're fast here, then your can be fast in most places because this is such a downforce-dependent circuit. So, fingers crossed our car is on the right path."

Hamilton's teammate Jenson Button's hoping improvements to McLaren Mercedes' car will mean results on the track.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Jenson Button, McLaren driver:
"We'll do some tests tomorrow (Friday). Hopefully we'll see some improvements with it but you never know. So, I think we need to test it in a specific circuit like Barcelona. Which we will do tomorrow. Do some back-to-backs and see if it is the right direction."

The British drivers will both be racing in Sunday's Grand Prix in Barcelona.
