  • F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton was in New York City on Thursday for Keep a Child Alive's Black Ball and he took a moment to speak to SNTV about winning the title, and Ayrton Senna.

SOUNDBITE (English): Lewis Hamilton, F1 World Champion:

"I just won the world championship, third time in a row, emulated Ayrton Senna who was my favourite driver of all time, and that was my dream since I was five years old, so to do that was a really big part of my life and now I am just enjoying the whole rollercoaster."

SOUNDBITE (English): Lewis Hamilton, F1 World Champion (on his favourite driver):

"Aryton Senna, the Brazilian driver, he was a guy who I noticed when I was kid, how he drove and how he was as a human being because he made a big difference to how he inspired people in Brazil, he was bigger than any football player, or President, he was the most influential person in Brazil in how he gave back to his country so I love that, he is a leader, a real iconic figure, and he just drove the best so I always want to be like him."
