Dongfeng delighted the home Volvo Ocean Race fans on Saturday (7th February) by taking victory in the Vestas Wind In-Port Race in Sanya, China.

Winds of 10 knots meant excellent racing conditions for the Vestas Wind In-Port Race in China.

All the entrants started well, apart from Mapfre, who were forced to bear away, after finding themselves on the wrong side of the starting line.

It ended up being a classic race, with the lead changing hands four times, but in the end it was China's Dongfeng RaceTeam who came through to take the win and a glorious home victory.

Dongfeng are on a winning streak at the moment, after becoming the first Chinese- baked team to win a leg in the event when they won the third stage from Abu Dhabi to China.

There have now been four different winners from the four In-Port races, meaning it's looking extremely close at the top of the table.

Abu Dhabi Racing are leading the way, sitting four points ahead of Team Brunel with Dongfeng now in third.

The Volvo Ocean Race leg four will kick off from Sanya on Sunday.
