It was a dominant performance from Toyota at the Six Hours of Fuji on Sunday.

Unbeaten on home soil, the Japanese manufacturer once again delighted their home fans with victory in the fifth round of the World Endurance Championship.

The SMP racing team took a hit early on and left part of the car on the track. That was them changing car and out the race.

The #20 Porsche in the hands of Mark Webber began well, but would soon slip back as the Toyota teams came to the fore.

Webber - along with his team mates Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley - would have to settle for third spot on the podium, one lap behind their rivals.

Alex Wurz, Stephane Sarrazin and Kazuki Nakajima finished second in the Toyota #7 TS040 Hybrid, as the title went to Sebastien Buemi and Anthony Davidson.

It was Davidson who took the chequered flag to extend their lead in the drivers' championship, whilst Toyota also now head the manufacturers' standings as well.

The sixth round of competition takes place in Shanghai next month.
