    It was a Swiss 1-2 as Sebastien Buemi qualified fastest for Toyota Racing in the 6 Hours of Circuit of Americas, 1.19 seconds ahead of Porsche Team driver Neel Jani, while Australian Mark Webber was third fastest.

    Qualifying for the 6 Hours of Circuit of Americas, the latest round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, took place on Friday (19th September) in Austin, Texas.

    In the LM GTE Pro category Italian Gianmaria Bruni in his Ferrari was fastest for AF Corse, with Aston Martin racing driver Stefan Muecke 0.638 seconds behind, while the Porsche Team Manthey of Frederic Makowiecki was a mere five hundredths of a second further back.

    In the LMP2 category British duo Richard Bradley and Ryan Dalziel were second and third quickest in the category. Dalziel here in the green took third in qualifying, while Bradley was second.

    Frenchman Olivier Pla was quickest for G-Drive Racing with an average lap time of one minute 56.075 seconds.

    Fastest in qualifying in the LMP1 was Sebastien Buemi of Switzerland, in his Toyota TS car as he clocked an average lap time of one minute 49.093.

    Fellow Swiss, Neel Jani was 1.190 seconds behind for Porsche Team, while the manufacturers other car, driven by ex Red Bull Racing F1 driver Mark Webber, was third quickest, 1.208 seconds behind Buemi.
