SOUNDBITE: (English), Gabriel Medina:
"I don't know - there is 40,000 points still. I am thinking heat by heat, trying to go step by step and try to keep focussed, make heats and it is too early to think about the world title. But I'm feeling good, I am feeling confidence and I have no pressure at all."
SOUNDBITE: (English), Gabriel Medina:
"I know I have a lot of support in Brazil. They are really passionate for any sports. Especially in Brazil I think we need a world champion, especially in surfing. It is going to be good for surfing, it is going to be good for Brazil, it is going to be good for me, for everyone. So it is really exciting and I am Brazilian too and I know how they are feeling and I am excited too."
