Andreas Mikkelsen leads the Rally of Poland

Sunday, June 29 2014 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Norway's Andreas Mikkelsen overtakes team-mate Sebastien Ogier on Saturday (28th June) to lead the Rally of Poland by four seconds in the early stages of day three through Goldap, Poland.

    Script:

The leaderboard of the Rally of Poland has changed following the drive through Goldap, the longest stage of the rally.

Andreas Mikkelsen, has gone 4.3 seconds ahead of Frenchman Sebastien Ogier, while Norwegian Mads Ostberg crashed out of the rally after he hit a rock - handing third place to Finn Jari-Matti Latvala.

Britain's Elfyn Evans is also out of the rally after he hit the same rock as Ostberg and it seems that all the top drivers have been caught out by the tricky Polish surface and have dropped time.

Former Formula One driver Robert Kubica lies in seventh position.
