Intro:
Danish rider Niels-Kristian Iversen won Saturday's (June 28) sixth round of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship in Copenhagen.
Script:
Two men were locked in a battle at the top of the standings, coming into the Danish GP speedway.
Tai Woffinden had 63 points - America's Greg Hancock trailed by one.
Danish wildcard Peter Kildemand triumphed in semi-final two to take his place in the last four.
And missing out was Woffinden.
Australian Troy Batchelor won all five of his heats - and then semi-final one.
But he looked nervous ahead of the final.
By contrast, 25-year-old Kildemand seemed ready for business, enjoying one of the greatest days in his career.
Another Dane though, was to steal the glory.
Niels-Kristian Iversen powered to victory.
Batchelor was his closest rival with Hancock third.
The points-haul at the end read - 20. Iversen. 16 Kildemand and 15 to Hancock.
Whilst overall lead Woffinden secured nine points.
That means Hancock assumes the lead in the standings now with 73 points.
Woffinden trails by a point with Iversen leaping up to third on 62.
