Intro:
Jari-Matti Latvala increased his lead on the third day of the WRC's Rally Argentina.
The Finn is now 21.2 seconds ahead of team-mate Sebastien Ogier.
Script:
Jari-Matti Latvala carried a considerable lead of 17.7 seconds over Volkswagen Motorsport team-mate Sebastien Ogier into day three of the Rally Argentina in Cordoba.
The Finn finished second to Andreas Mikkelsen in Saturday's opening stage - special stage six - and won the next to increase his advantage over Ogier to 21.2 seconds.
The French defending champion took third place in special stage six, and finished second in special stage seven, to keep the pressure on Latvala and maintain his hopes of a fourth rally win from the first five rounds of the season.
Briton Kris Meeke could only manage seventh-place finishes in Saturday's first two stages, but it was still enough to maintain third place overall.
The Citroen driver sits two-and-a-half minutes off the lead, but holds a two minutes, 50.9 seconds advantage over Norway's Mikkelsen in fourth.
