The all-conquering Canadian curling team, both women and men, have done the job, sweeping the gold medals this week in Sochi - an achievement that confirms Canada's excellent performances in Russia.

"It was very tough to watch the girls win that game, because we felt we had to do the same thing. So to have gone out and won the game after and follow the women and win the gold medal for team Canadian men's curling it was phenomenal. And obviously their win did make us want to go out and win. We were really hungry for that gold medal. And the Canadian women's hockey team, we were at that game the night that that went down. That was so inspiring as well, so to watch them win, to watch the Canadian women's hockey team win, it just fired us all up to go out there and get the job done for ourselves as well."
