  • Intro:

Leading Canadian players talk about their late comeback to close out a 3-2 overtime with over the USA, and take the gold medal in the ladies' ice hockey for the fourth consecutive time.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Hayley Wickenheiser (Did you feel that the US were just trying to defend their lead at the end?):
"Yes they were definitely in a one four formation on the ice when they were up two nothing, and sitting back, and when we got the goal, I think we felt like they deflated quite a bit and that if we pushed back they would definitely be susceptible to another goal. So it's the pressure. It happens. It's happened to us numerous times. It's hard to maintain a two goal lead. It's the worst lead in hockey.
