It was a Slovenian double at the Ski Jumping World Cup match in Sapporo, Japan on Saturday.

Peter Prevc's total of 294.6 points was enough for victory and the Slovenian's win propelled him to the top of the overall leaderboard.

The 21-year-old speaks three languages but you wouldn't need a translator to understand his joy with only his second win this season.

In second place was fellow Slovenian Jernej Damjan, who racked up a combined 277 points.

The 30-year-old is 34th in the consolidated standings.

There was some joy for the Japanese crowd though as Noriaki Kasai came third in his home country with 272.1 points.

Kasai is fifth in the table, more than 100 points off the lead, as he prepares to represent Japan at the Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia next month.
