Niki Lauda has described current Formula One world champion, Sebastian Vettel, as a 'little kid' and claimed that it is easier to race nowadays than it was when he was a driver.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Niki Lauda (Q: Sebastian Vettel has come in for criticism with people describing him as arrogant. Do you think this is accurate?)
"I think Sebastian Vettel is like a little kid. He talks to every journalist. He's very friendly. I think the other way round (he is more approachable than the drivers in previous eras. Kimi Raikkonen, I think he could be one of the old guys, around my time, if he would speak a little more But Kimi speaks very little but he doesn't care about anything, he just goes his own way which we had to do. But I think Sebastian is very good. (Lewis) Hamilton is very good. I mean they are communicating well. (Nico) Rosberg is. I think they're all a different breed of racing drivers but I like them."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Niki Lauda (Q: Do you think there's more camaraderie among the drivers than in your day?)
"They're not really friends. It's much easier today because it's not dangerous any more, like in the old days. Guys are younger. They are 21, 22 years old. They are world champions so they speak more to each other and respect each other in a way."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Niki Lauda (Q: What do you think the differences are with Formula one now compared to when you were racing?)
"it is easier generally speaking because there is no.......drivers don't have to worry about safety or danger because there is no danger and for 20 years now, nobody has been killed. So a normal human being, if nothing is happening they are not thinking about it. Our problem was that every year, one or two got killed, so even if we didn't think about it we saw it happening and therefore we were under much more pressure. Today it is much easier to drive on the limit with these cars, fight each other and win. This is still the same problem like in our days."
