    Beat Hefti of Switzerland won his first ever World Cup four-man bobsleigh race on Sunday.

    The Russian 2 team of Alexander Kasjanov, Ilvir Khuzin, Maxim Belugin and Petr Moiseev, seemed delighted with their time.

    But soon after were pipped by the Russia 1 team of Alexsandr Zubkov, Alexey Negodaylo, Dmitry Trunenkov and Maxim Mokrousov. They looked set for victory, but eventually had to settle for 2nd place.

    Hefti, and his Switzerland 1 team of Alex Baumann, Thomas Lamparter and Jurg Egger took first place, after they finished in the lead by just 0.09-of-a-second after setting a combined time of one minute, 57.92 seconds to break the hearts of the Russian's.

    The Russia 2 team had to settle for third.

    However Zubkov is still in the lead in the overall rankings with 1110 points.
