Sweden make it six wins from six at European Curling Championships

    Sweden's men made it six wins out of six at the European Curling Championships on Tuesday, as Russia went down 8-2 in Karlstad.

    Script:

    Draw six in the men's tournament at the European Curling Championships saw Norway go head to head with the Czech Republic.

    Both went into the game having won four and lost one at the competition.

    It was Norway however who took the spoils and completed an 8-5 victory.

    Sweden, meanwhile recorded their sixth win of the competition and remain unbeaten.

    Niklas Edin's team took a three-nil lead in the second end and never looked back.

    They went on to record an 8-2 win.

    Denmark climbed the round robin leaderboard after going up against France.

    Trailing 3-2 after six ends, Denmark hit back with three points in the seventh and would go on to celebrate an 8-4 triumph.

    Germany and Hungary were both bidding to record their first victories, and a tight contest ensued between the countries.

    Germany edged it, 6-5, to leave their opponents rock bottom of the standings.

    In other action, Switzerland saw off Scotland with a 7-2 victory.
