Latvian Martin Dukurs continued his dominance of the men's skeleton on Saturday as he made it two World Cup race wins from two this season at Park City in Utah.

It was also a 14th World Cup race victory in his last 18, a stretch going back to November 2010.

Dukurs posted the fastest time on the opening run - 49.75 and followed it with the third fastest second run - 49.96.

His total of 1 minute, 39.71 seconds was five hundredths-of-a-second faster than 2011 Junior World Champion Alexander Kroeckel, as the German was second-quickest on both of his runs.

Russian Alexsander Zubkov has also won the opening two races of the World Cup season, following up victory at Lake Placid with another podium-topping performance.

Team Zubkov had the quickest times on both runs - a 47.95 run was followed by a 49.31 to give them a total of 1 minute, 36.26 seconds - which was 0.12 seconds ahead of current world and Olympic champion Steven Holcomb.

Team Holcomb clocked a time of one minute, 36.38 seconds.
In the overall standings Zubkov leads on 450 points, while in second place Holcomb has 420 points and Manhata, the 2011 world champion, European champion and the overall World Cup winner, is third on 392.
